Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. This document explains what personal data STEELCO s.r.o. (brand ESTAVIO, estavio.sk) processes as the controller, for what purpose, and what rights you have under the GDPR and Act No. 18/2018 Coll.

2. What data we process and for what purpose

  • Contact and identification data (name, e-mail, phone, company), from a form or e-mail, for the purpose of handling your enquiry, preparing a quote and communication.
  • Billing data, for the purpose of performing the contract, invoicing and fulfilling statutory (accounting and tax) obligations.
  • The content of communication and project materials, for the purpose of providing the service.
  • Photographs and video recordings from the work, for the purpose of delivering the service and, by agreement, presentation in our portfolio.
  • Technical data about your website visit (cookies, IP address, statistics), for the purpose of operating the website and measuring traffic (see the Cookie Policy for more).

3. Legal basis for processing

  • Performance of a contract, when ordering and delivering the service.
  • Legal obligation, for accounting and tax documents (archiving as required by law).
  • Legitimate interest, for ordinary communication, protection against fraud, and presenting references that do not identify specific individuals.
  • Consent, for optional cookies (analytics, marketing) and for publishing identifiable individuals; you can withdraw your consent at any time.

4. Cookies and analytics

The website uses necessary cookies required for the site to function and, based on your consent, analytical cookies to measure traffic (e.g. Google Analytics). We set analytical cookies only if you allow them in the cookie bar. You can find details in the separate Cookie Policy.

5. Recipients and processors

We may provide data to trusted processors who help us operate the service: a hosting and e-mail provider, a form-submission tool, an accountant, a traffic-measurement tool. We have (or will conclude) a data processing agreement with each of them. Some tools may process data outside the EU; in that case we ensure adequate safeguards. We do not sell data to third parties.

6. Retention period

  • Enquiries without a concluded contract: usually up to 12 months.
  • Contractual and billing data: for the period required by law (accounting documents usually 10 years).
  • Data processed on the basis of consent: until consent is withdrawn or the purpose ceases.

7. Your rights

  • The right to access your data and to a copy of it.
  • The right to rectify incorrect data and complete incomplete data.
  • The right to erasure ("the right to be forgotten") and to restriction of processing.
  • The right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to withdraw a granted consent at any time.

We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss and misuse. We may update this document from time to time; the current version is always available on this page.
